Dafnegin Vaginal Cream is used in the treatment of vulvovaginal and perianal conditions caused by Candida.

Dosage and Directions for Use
Dafnegin Vaginal Cream is administered according to the following doses: screw the applicator onto the cream tube and fill it by applying light pressure on the tube. Insert the applicator deep into the vagina and apply the contents (5 g) daily before bed for 6 consecutive days or, at the doctor's discretion, up to a maximum of 14 days.

For application, a position on the back with the legs slightly bent is recommended. To prevent reinfection, it is advisable to also treat the peri-vaginal and perianal skin with a small amount of vaginal cream.

Contraindications

• Already known hypersensitivity or allergy to the preparation.

Special warnings

Mutual infection is possible; to prevent reinfection, simultaneous therapy of the partner is recommended. With topical or intravaginal applications, there is virtually no systemic absorption of the preparation. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical drugs can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, treatment should be suspended and appropriate therapeutic measures should be taken.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

During pregnancy, the drug should be administered only when strictly necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor.

Expiry and storage
