Indications

It is the only antibacterial dressing without active ingredients for superficial infected wounds. As an alternative to the use of chemically active agents, it uses a simple physical principle to capture pathogenic bacteria and fungi present in the wound and removes them with the next dressing change. The dressing, coated with a fatty acid derivative (DACC), has hydrophobic characteristics; bacteria also have these characteristics, which makes them attracted to it. It is effective on chronic, dirty wounds such as arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and bedsores, as well as traumatic wounds, dehisced wounds, wounds from the excision of fistulas, and abscesses.
