Indications

ColdHot Therapy Pack Comfort by Nexcare is a heat therapy pad that is designed to provide superficial cold or heat. Cold therapy helps reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain, while hot therapy helps reduce pain, soothe, and relax. The gel is non-toxic and safe for the whole family. The pads can be used cold or hot and are a natural, drug-free therapy solution. The products are suitable for storage in the freezer or refrigerator, and can be reheated in hot water or in the microwave.

Details

• Cold therapy is recommended for tension headaches, to relieve the symptoms of fever, acute injuries such as bruises, sprains and minor bumps, sprains e.g. of the ankle, bruises, swelling e.g. of the knee;
• Heat therapy is recommended for a stiff neck or shoulder, stomach ache (relieves abdominal muscle cramps), as a body or bed warmer, for arthritis of the wrist as an adjunctive therapy for rheumatoid arthritis (without acute inflammation).

How to use and Dosage

Use your hands to distribute the heat evenly. Always place the gel pad in the provided cover or in a clean towel when applying it to the skin. Now you can choose the right temperature level for your body parts and skin during heat therapy. The temperature indicator shows a temperature range during heating. The black stripes gradually disappear as the heating progresses. 3 temperature levels appear in red on the temperature indicator: low, medium, and high. The protective cover of the gel pad can be applied quickly and conveniently, ensuring greater safety for the skin. The adjustable elastic strap provides a stable and secure hold. The product maintains the temperature for up to 20 minutes.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not use the film directly on the skin. Use the provided cover or wrap it in a clean cloth. Do not sit or lean on the gel pad, and do not apply excessive pressure, as the pad may break and/or leak. Do not use while sleeping. Do not use on broken or sensitive skin. People with known or suspected nervous system or circulation problems should not use this product unless prescribed by a doctor. Care should be taken to avoid frostbite and superficial nerve injuries. Heat may be sufficiently analgesic to cause local burns. Supervision is recommended when using these products on children or people with cognitive impairments. Discontinue use if discomfort occurs. If the problem persists, consult a doctor.
