Indications

Cetisan skin solution is useful for disinfecting damaged skin, wounds, abrasions, cuts, and skin lesions. The product can be used to disinfect objects.

Composition

Active ingredients

0.2% Skin solution: 100 ml contain 0.200 g of cetylpyridinium chloride. 0.1% 

Excipients

rose essence, purified water.

Directions for use and dosage

Cleanse the affected area with a cotton ball soaked in skin solution, or pour a little product on the lesion and apply a sterile gauze soaked in skin solution. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times a day if necessary. For disinfecting objects: use the pure skin solution as needed.

Warnings

Do not use for prolonged treatments. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Accidental ingestion or inhalation of some disinfectants can have serious, sometimes fatal, consequences. Avoid contact with eyes. Cetilsan skin solution. The product is for external use only. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products may give rise to sensitization phenomena: in this case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy. The product should not be brought into contact with the eyes, brain, meninges, or middle ear. It should not be used to disinfect mucous membranes (washing, irrigation). Do not expose the treated area to direct sunlight after applying the product.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients.

Side effects

Local intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur in some cases.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The product is a disinfectant for local use. Cetilsan cutaneous solution There are no contraindications for use in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
