Mother tincture based on Calendula Officinalis
Calendula Officinalis has vulnerary, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, soothing, decongestant, and hydrating properties. Calendula is also widely used externally (both as a wash and in gel form) for irritation, redness, eczema, and wounds. Calendula contains an essential oil, calendulin, a bittering agent, saponin, vitamin C, and salicylic acid. The flowering tops and leaves of the plant are used. Extraction ratio 1:5 alc vol 45%.
Indicated for:
Glandular engorgement, biliary dyspepsia, stomach and duodenal ulcers, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, leucorrhoea, candidiasis, vulvovaginitis, adnexitis, trichomoniasis.
Take 30-40 drops 3 times a day in water. For external use, a 20% solution in sterile water.
