Indications
C3 Rigid Cervical Collar Schanz Type or Zimmer Type code 1116 for mild and medium severity cervical trauma and injuries and for cervicobrachial neuralgia.
- Relative immobilization of the cervical spine.
- Height-adjustable collar composed of two rigid parts that can be joined together using three Velcro fasteners.
- Perforated support structure for better ventilation.
- Padding on the support points for greater comfort.
- Size 02.
- Height from 10 to 12 cm.
- Crew neck from 38 to 41 cm (Any measurements given are to be considered with a tolerance of ± 1 cm).
Composition
Collar: 100% polyethylene.
Protective fabric: 100% polyvinyl.
How to use
The initial fitting must be carried out by a qualified specialist. Adjust the height by appropriately coupling the two rigid parts. Position the two rigid parts so that the lower one rests on the clavicles and the upper one under the chin. The position is correct if the head is prevented from bending downwards. Roll the product so that it takes on a shape that facilitates positioning around the neck. Close the collar at the back using the Velcro closure.
