Composition

One lozenge contains: Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg; amylmetacresol 0.6 mg; sodium ascorbate 74.9 mg; ascorbic acid 33.5 mg. Excipients: sucrose, liquid glucose, tartaric acid, orange flavoring, menthol, propylene glycol.

Directions for use and Dosage

Allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2 or 3 hours. For children over 2 years of age, consult your doctor for an appropriate dosage. Do not exceed the recommended doses and in particular, for BENAGOL with Vitamin C Orange flavor, do not exceed the daily maximum of 8 tablets. Be careful with small children as swallowing the tablets whole may cause choking.

Warnings

If sensitization or irritation occurs, discontinue administration and consult your doctor to initiate appropriate treatment. Do not administer the product to children under 2 years of age. After a few days of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. A dose higher than the recommended one should not be used to avoid a greater risk of adverse reactions to the medicine and disorders associated with overdose.

All tablets (except BENAGOL Lemon flavor without sugar and BENAGOL Strawberry flavor without sugar) contain glucose and are therefore not suitable for patients with glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome; They also contain sucrose and are therefore not suitable for patients with hereditary fructose intolerance and sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: In pregnant and breastfeeding women, the product should be administered only if strictly necessary, under the direct supervision of a doctor. There is insufficient information on the excretion of menthol in breast milk.
