Belladonna has many beneficial properties. The alkaloids it contains can act on the nervous system, both as anesthetics and as stimulants. It is effective in many conditions, as it can also be used as an anti-inflammatory in the case of sore throat, allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and other typical flu symptoms. Furthermore, it can be useful in cases of gastritis, intestinal problems, and skin disorders.
Belladonna MK is traditionally used in homeopathy for feverish influenza, infectious, or exanthematous symptoms, with rapid onset with sweating, facial flushing, and redness. Belladonna is therefore a commonly used remedy in children for fever.
Another typical use of Belladonna in the homeopathic tradition is for sore throats with redness, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis with pain when swallowing and intense redness of the throat.
In general, it is used for local inflammation with redness, swelling, heat, and sharp pain. It is also used for sudden, throbbing headaches.
In homeopathy, taking the granules is different depending on whether they are used for chronic or acute problems.
In the chronic phase, it is usually recommended to take 5 granules at a time, 3 times a day, always between meals if possible or at least a quarter of an hour after a meal. In the case of acute pathology, they are usually taken several times during the day at close intervals, usually within 15 minutes of each other. Get to take 2 or 3 granules every hour or every two hours.
