Product Description

Soft vaginal capsules for the treatment of vaginitis and vulvovaginitis.

Indications

Bactocin vaginal soft capsules are indicated for "vaginitis and vulvovaginitis" in general, as the lactobacilli present in them, by implanting and multiplying on the vaginal mucosa, in addition to restoring balance to the native bacterial flora, antagonize, indirectly by competition, colonization by pathogenic germs.
Bactocin is therefore used in the topical therapy of vaginal infections caused by pathogenic germs.
In particular, in vaginitis associated with ovarian failure, hypofolliculin leukorrhea, infantile vaginitis, senile vaginitis, vulvar itching, and vaginal dystrophy.
Bactocin is also used as an adjuvant in chemotherapy and antibiotic treatment for Trichomonas vaginitis.

How to use

Vaginal soft capsules: One vaginal capsule per day.
How to use: Insert one capsule deeply into the vagina, in a supine position, in the evening before going to bed.

Warnings

Bactocin does not replace antibiotic or chemotherapy therapy, but represents a useful complement by restoring the physiological conditions of the vaginal environment, especially at the end of the specific treatment.

Storage instructions

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package after “Exp.”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Store in a refrigerator (+2°C – +8°C).

Hypersensitivity to one of the components.

No side effects related to the use of the product have been reported.

Overdose

There are no known effects attributable to overdose.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Lactobacillus plantarum is a non-pathogenic regular guest of the vagina, therefore BACTOCIN can be used during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.
