How to perform a blood glucose test:

Insert a test strip into the meter. The test strip and blood drop symbols will appear on the display, indicating that you can now test.

Gently apply the blood drop to the yellow test area of the strip—do not get any other parts of the strip or the control window dirty. The flashing hourglass symbol indicates that enough blood has been applied. If necessary, apply more blood within 5 seconds. The result appears on the display.
