It is a medical device in the form of an orodispersible powder stick, with calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, sodium citrate and simethicone. Once it reaches the gastroesophageal lumen, the product neutralizes the pH of gastric juices and acid vapors, exerting a protective and soothing action on the gastroesophageal mucosa, with a rapid action against pain and heartburn due to hyperacidity.
The presence of simethicone, a substance capable of reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion, reduces the sensation of bloating and promotes abdominal distension. It also contains 8 digestive enzymes that help improve food digestion (breaking it down into smaller elements that are easily absorbed by the intestine), preventing the effects of malabsorption and consequently alleviating some typical symptoms of dyspepsia, such as bloating, epigastric discomfort and pain, postprandial nausea, belching after meals, and abdominal distension.
