Lombarda H is An antiseptic-antibacterial for surgical hand disinfection and preoperative preparation of patients.

Indications

Antiseptic-antibacterial for use in the following cases:

• antiseptic and surgical hand washing;
• preoperative preparation of patients;
• use as an antiseptic-microbicide in medical clinics.

Composition

Active ingredients

Polyvinylpyrrolidone iodine

Excipients

Coformulants; Purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

• Antiseptic and surgical hand wash: Wet hands and forearms with water. Take 5 ml of product on the palms of your hands and distribute it over your hands and forearms. Without adding any more water, rub the entire area for at least 1 minute. If necessary, use a brush. Clean thoroughly under the nails. Add a small amount of water and work up a generous lather. Rinse. Complete the treatment by repeating the operation with another 5 ml of product.
• Pre-operative use on patients: After shaving the area to be treated, wet it with water and apply the product, distributing it and massaging for at least 5 minutes. Remove the product with sterile gauze, wetting with water if necessary.
• Outpatient Use: Follow the same procedures listed above, as needed.

Interactions

Do not use soaps or solutions/ointments containing mercury on the treated area at the same time.

Warnings

• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use on broken skin or mucous membranes.
• Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

• In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label if possible).
• Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
