Indications

Altial Complete by Biofta is a medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of a slightly liposmolar solution comprising a combination of medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid and highly biocompatible liposomes indicated to alleviate redness, dryness and ocular fatigue in cases of dry eye syndrome, particularly caused by inadequate quality of the lipid layer of the ocular surface, environmental stress (dust, allergens, smoke, air conditioning, environmental pollution) and visual stress due to the use of computers, television, video terminals. The product can be used in combination with other products of the same category. It can also be administered during contact lens use to improve ocular lubrication and comfort.

Composition

Lipoid, Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate tribasic dihydrate, Citric Acid monohydrate, purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

Instill 1 or 2 times a day, or as directed by your doctor.

1. Open the protective aluminum pouch;
2. Separate a single-dose wing from the strip;
3. Rotate and break the wing cap;
4. Gently press the body of the wing and instill 2/3 drops in each eye.
5. The wing is resealable; After instillation, immediately close it with the appropriate cap and reuse the remaining contents within the next 12 hours.
6. Keep unused wings in the aluminum pouch until the contents are finished.
7. The product in the wing is for single-patient use;
8. The product is compatible with contact lenses.

Warnings

The product is for ophthalmic use only. Once opened, the single-dose wing can be closed with the appropriate cap and the remaining contents must be used within 12 hours. If necessary, consult your doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use the product if the aluminum pouch is damaged and/or if the wings are not perfectly intact. Keep out of reach of children. Before opening the wing to administer the drops, it is advisable to thoroughly wash your hands. During instillation, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing tip of the wing. Do not use the product if you are known to be incompatible with even one component of the formulation. If necessary, check with your ophthalmologist to ensure the compatibility of the eye drops with your contact lenses. If you experience any discomfort such as sensitivity, irritation, or burning during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Any ophthalmic medications should be administered at least 15 minutes after instilling the eye drops, especially if they contain benzalkonium chloride or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid precipitation of hyaluronic acid. Ophthalmic medications administered simultaneously with the eye drops must be supervised by a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

Storage

Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, placing unused wings in the aluminum pouch. In the event of any complaint or serious incident relating to the device, it is necessary to report the incident to the manufacturer. The product contains soy.
