Altergen - cream for treatment of wounds 25g

Product Description

Prophylaxis and local treatment of sores, varicose ulcers and burns.

Indications

Altergen 0.2% + 1% cream 100 g of cream contain: Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.20 g Silver sulfadiazine 1.00 g.
ExcipientsAltergen 0.2% + 1% cream Polyethylene glycol 400 monostearate, oleic acid decyl ester, emulsifying wax, glycerol, sorbitol solution 70%, purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

Altergen 0.2% + 1% cream: spread a uniform layer of cream over the entire site of the lesion. 2–3 mm thick, once or twice a day.

Warnings

Altergen should be used with caution in subjects who have previously shown allergies to sulfonamides and in the presence of hepatic or renal insufficiency.

Interactions

Local proteolytic enzymes, applied simultaneously with Altergen, can be inactivated by the presence of silver ions.

Side effects

Oral administration of sulfonamides can cause a series of side effects such as renal insufficiency, toxic hepatitis, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia and skin rashes.
Altergen is generally well tolerated.
If large areas of the body are treated with Altergen, the classic side effects of systemically administered sulfonamides cannot be ruled out.
In case of long-term treatment, it is recommended to monitor the leukocyte count.
Since there is no exhaustive experimental data on the possible side effects of the drug on the fetus, Altergen should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless, in the doctor's opinion, its use is essential.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
Shelf life from the date of production, in unopened packaging: 60 months.
