Indications
Alistan Snail Syrup has a protective and soothing action on the upper respiratory tract. Soothes dry coughs and helps expectoration.
Ingredients
Snail Extract, Sugar, Water, Thyme Extract, Caramel, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid.
Gluten-free, lactose-free.
Directions for use and Dosage
For adults and children aged 14 and over: 1 tablespoon of syrup (about 5 ml) 3 times a day and as needed.
For children aged 6 to 14: 1 tablespoon (about 5 ml) 2 times a day.
For children aged 1 to 5: 1 teaspoon (about 5 ml) 2 times a day. Can be taken more frequently if necessary.
Take the syrup preferably after meals. Keep the syrup in your mouth and throat for as long as possible before swallowing.
The duration of treatment depends on the progression of symptoms. After a maximum of 30 days, stop taking it for at least 3-5 days.
Warnings
If the cough persists for more than 7-10 days, consult your doctor to determine the cause and rule out an underlying condition. 5 ml of syrup contains approximately 4 g of sugar (sucrose), equivalent to 0.333 bread units (BE). This should be taken into account in diabetic patients. There are no contraindications to taking the syrup during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components.
