Non-adhesive hydrocellular polyurethane foam dressing anatomically shaped for the heel for superior fluid management and effective pressure relief in the treatment of wounds in a moist environment.

This optimizes the wound environment, allowing:

Indications

Among the sites most at risk of developing pressure ulcers, after the sacrum, the heel area is the most vulnerable. High risk. The dressing has a unique triple-layer polyurethane structure. Allevyn Heel is made of:
- an outer layer of polyurethane film, impermeable to liquids and bacteria, featuring dynamic transpiration to create an impenetrable barrier to protect the wound
- a soft and absorbent intermediate layer of hydrocellular polyurethane foam with an internal dispersion of polyethylene glycol particles
- a perforated, non-adherent wound contact layer.
