Indications

Aftamed Scudo is a gel specifically designed to reduce pain when canker sores are very extensive and painful. Thanks to its high mucoadhesiveness, the gel forms a shield that isolates the lesions from mechanical and chemical stress (rubbing, saliva, food, etc.). This effect also provides high bioavailability of the highly concentrated, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid contained in the formulation, allowing for tissue rehydration and control of inflammatory processes.

Composition

The main component of the product is high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (sodium salt) 600 mg/100 g. Format: 8 ml tube.

Directions for use

The high-density, concentrated formula is specifically designed for large and very painful canker sores. For very large lesions, it is advisable to cover the entire surface of the ulcer. It is advisable to repeat the application of Aftamed Scudo 2-3 times a day, and more often as needed, until the symptoms disappear.
