Characteristics

Afta Care is a breathable oral gel based on PVA and hyaluronic acid, indicated for the treatment of canker sores, small lesions of the mouth and aphthous stomatitis. The gel is alcohol-free and, in contact with canker sores and other lesions of the mouth, forms an invisible protective film that protects the lesion from external agents (food, salt, acidic substances, heat) and promotes healing.

Active components

• Hyaluronic Acid: Promotes wound healing thanks to its film-forming and hydrating properties;
• PVA: Forms a protective film that isolates the aphthous lesion from saliva and from the substances responsible for the chemical-physical stimulation of the lesion;
• Ammonium Glycyrrhizinate: Helps reduce the inflammatory effects associated with aphthous lesions.

How to use

Use the special dispenser cannula to apply Afta Care directly to the area affected by the lesion.

Warnings

Apply the product away from meals.
Avoid touching the treated area for at least 2 minutes after application, so as to allow the gel to create a protective film.

Storage

Store away from light, in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 12 months.
