Product Description

Treatment for localized adiposity.

Indications

SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL is indicated for the treatment of localized adiposity accompanied by cellulite in adults.
Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 15-20 days.

Composition

Active ingredients

Levothyroxine 100 mg, escin 300 mg.
Excipient with known effect: This medicine contains 500 mg of alcohol (ethanol) in each sachet and 125 mg of alcohol (ethanol) in each actuation from the measuring bottle, which is equivalent to 50 mg in each gram of gel.

Excipients

Ethyl alcohol, sorbitol, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, triethanolamine, imidazolidinyl urea, xanthan gum, rose fragrance, purified water.

Directions for use and dosage

Dosage

• Apply locally 20 g of product per day for the first two consecutive days;
• Subsequently, apply 10 g of product per day or every other day.

Method of administration

Sachets:

• For the first two days, apply 2 sachets (20 g) per day.
• In the following days, apply 1 sachet (10 g) per day or every other day.
• If used on the thighs, apply 1 sachet (10 g) per thigh for the first two days, then half a sachet (5 g) per thigh on the following days.

Multi-dose bottle with dispenser:

• 4 sprays correspond to 10 g of product.
• Apply 8 sprays (20 g) per day for the first two days.
• Subsequently, apply 4 sprays (10 g) per day or every other day.
• If used on the thighs, apply 4 sprays (10 g) per thigh for the first two days, then 2 sprays (5 g) per thigh on the following days.
• To obtain 1 spray, press the dispenser all the way down.

Duration of treatment:

• Each treatment cycle can be used for 1 week. last from a minimum of 15-20 days to a maximum of 2-3 months and can be repeated at various intervals.

Application tips:

• Wash and dry the area to be treated thoroughly.
• Massage gently until a slight redness appears.
• Apply the product by vigorously massaging the area to be treated (no more than 15 cm on each side) for a few minutes until completely absorbed.
• Clinical results generally begin to become evident towards the end of the second week of treatment.

Warnings

Do not use SOMATOLINE:

• if you are allergic to the active ingredients levothyroxine and escin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• If you are intolerant to iodine.
• During pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL.
The use, especially if prolonged, of products for skin use can give rise to sensitization phenomena and cause side effects. In this case, you should stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use the product near mucous membranes or on broken skin.
In case of pre-existing thyroid problems, particular caution is recommended when using SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL.
It is also advisable to consult your doctor if problems have occurred in the past.

Children and adolescents
Do not use in children and adolescents.

Side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause sensitization phenomena and cause side effects. cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):

• Skin rash (erythema, itching)
• Hyperthyroidism
• Hypothyroidism
• Graves' disease
