Characteristics

Ghee (or clarified butter) is an ancient Ayurvedic recipe derived from butter. It is essentially butter from which the water and protein component have been removed.
Ayurvedic cuisine uses ghee instead of butter and oil for cooking, frying, and roasting because it can be heated and cooked without diminishing or losing its properties.
Ayurveda considers ghee a Rasayana, one of the most effective means of healing. effective for keeping you young and able to promote cell regeneration.
