Characteristics of the perfume
In the 1950s, the Guerlain family decided to create a creation inspired by the extraordinary roots of vétiver. After several attempts, the Guerlain perfumer managed to obtain a delicate dosage that recalled the intense scent released by the earth at the first light of dawn. This evocation of the awakening of the world is enriched with a woody accord and the refined elegance of spices and tobacco, to give life to a rare and sophisticated fragrance.
Vétiver draws its character from a new accord in the universe of fragrances. An accord based on Vétiver, Tonka Bean, Nutmeg and Tobacco. The fragrance opens with the spontaneous and pungent freshness of citrus fruits: Orange, Bergamot, Lemon. In the heart, spices such as Nutmeg and Pepper intensify the fragrance, before giving way to Vetiver, Tobacco and Tonka Bean. A fresh woody accord for authentic elegance.
