Patchouli Nosy Be is a spicy and woody unisex perfume, characterized by the olfactory hints of warm and enveloping patchouli.

Perfume characteristics

Patchouli is a plant traditionally cultivated in Indonesia, China and India.
Until a few years ago, Madagascar did not host patchouli plantations due to the excessive heat present on the main island, but thanks to the brilliant intuition of Mr. Camarat, director of the Robertet Ylang Ylang plantation, this plant managed to take root. Camarat recovered some seedlings from a disused plantation, propagated them by hand, and replanted them on the island of Nosy Be, protecting them from the strong sun's rays by shading them with other plants.
The work of treating the plants is long and painstaking, and the selection of the leaves is done strictly by hand: the best are those that are starting to turn yellow and are left for at least a week in a dry, shaded environment. During this period, the leaves, losing moisture, will retain the precious essential oil in greater concentration.

The result is a warm and enveloping perfume, whose spicy top notes give way to the complexity of Patchouli.
