The Eau de Parfum Figuier Noir is a synergy of resins to grasp the unattainable stars, a combination of woods to emphasize sincerity and a tangle of roots to leave a solid trail - together with exquisite spices and black fig pulp, which define its sillage.
A word from the perfumer: "I had the opportunity to live in the countryside, in the Grasse region, where I was able to contemplate the passage of time and seize the arrival of sunny days.
From the first heat, the fig trees produce a bitter and sensual, tart and voluptuous scent.
A combination A reassuring and elegant olfactory composition, so contradictory that it allowed me to create a masculine fragrance.
Sitting in the shade of the black fig tree whose gnarled branches embraced me like long, sensitive arms, refreshed by the caress of the wind that delicately crumpled the leaves above my head, so large they reminded me of a giant's hands, I felt, beyond the bark, the sweet and relaxing pulsation of the sap.
Nose tense, hands abandoned on the ground, eyes closed, I let myself be carried by the waves of contrary but disturbing scents.
Numb and happy, I immediately returned to my laboratory to preserve my fickle harvest and, in front of my scales, I formulated a short series of fragrant ingredients.
