Perfume Characteristics

The Eau de Parfum Crimson Rocks is a fragrance where Amouage has created an intense rose, a rose that resists extreme weather, but is sweet, welcoming just like the mountains where it grows, rooted to stand the test of time.
This rose is composed of the red notes of cinnamon and a jujube honey accord which, together with oak wood and cedar wood, paint the Al Hajar mountains in deep crimson shades.
"In creating this fragrance, I was inspired by the crimson color of the Al Hajar rock in the shadow of its mountains illuminated by the last rays of the April sun.
I used two different and innovative Rose extracts, allowing their majestic scents to unfold directly in the top note and then reveal other facets in the heart of the composition.
It is built with cinnamon essential oil, which "smells red" in my mind, but also with a surprising jujube honey accord, reminiscent of the region's typicality.
Finally, I built a powerful dry down with the heady and engaging notes of oak wood, enriched with vetiver and red cedar wood.
