Indications
Plasmon Zero Liquido is a food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of preterm infants and/or infants with low birth weight, exceeding 1500 g, in the case in which they are not breastfed, as it is formulated to meet their specific nutritional needs and is suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition. Contains whey proteins rich in alpha-lactalbumin, beta-palmitate, galactooligosaccharides and lactoferrin. Furthermore, it provides an adequate energy and protein intake and is integrated with LC-PUFA, essential long-chain omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, indicated for the dietary management of preterm infants.

Directions for use
Prepare only one bottle at a time to be administered to the infant immediately after preparation. Do not reuse milk left in the bottle at the end of the feed. be administered parenterally.
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring before use.
- Boil and pour the required amount of hot water (see Indicative Feeding Table) into the bottle at a temperature of 70°C.
- Fill the included measuring spoon, leveling off any excess powder with the blade of a washed and sterilized knife.
- Pour the indicated quantity of measuring spoons into the bottle (see Indicative Feeding Table).
- Close and shake the bottle.
- Before giving it to the baby, check the temperature of the milk on the back of your hand. The temperature of the milk must not exceed 37/40°C.
- After use, return the measuring spoon to the box, making sure it is clean and dry.
Warnings
Breastfeeding is the ideal nourishment even for infants born prematurely and/or with low birth weight. If breastfeeding is not possible, infant formula should only be used under the advice of a pediatrician. It should be used only under medical supervision. Inappropriate preparation and storage may cause disorders or health risks to the infant.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, it should be consumed within 24 hours, keeping it refrigerated. The milk remaining in the bottle after feeding should not be reused.
