Product Description

Food indicated for dietary treatment through oral rehydration in case of vomiting and diarrhea.

Indications

Prereid is a food intended for special medical purposes based on a suitably balanced mixture of carbohydrates and mineral salts, fibers (FOS and XOS) and Zinc, useful for restoring the water-salt balance altered by acute diarrhea, vomiting or other situations that can lead to increased losses of these elements.

Ingredients

Dextrose; maltodextrins; sodium chloride; potassium citrate; sodium citrate; prebiotic fibers: fructo-oligosaccharides, xylo-oligosaccharides; flavoring; sweetener: acesulfame K; zinc citrate.

Gluten-free.

Directions for use and Dosage

Dilute one sachet in 100ml of water, preferably cold.

• Children: it is recommended to take 100ml of solution for each kg of body weight within 4/6 hours, ad libitum or following the doctor's advice.
  At the end of this period of rapid rehydration, take Prereid as needed or according to the doctor's instructions.
• Adults: it is recommended to take 1-2 litres of solution per day.

It is recommended to dilute Prereid following the instructions without increasing its concentration. 

Warnings

The product must be used following the indications and under the supervision of a doctor.
It should not be used as the sole source of nourishment and It should not be administered parenterally.
In case of vomiting, take small doses repeatedly over time. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
