Indications
Food for special medical purposes. Intended for the dietary management of long-chain fatty acid oxidation disorders, poor digestion and malabsorption of fats, in ketogenic diets and in all other cases requiring a diet with an additional requirement of MCT fats.
Composition
100% vegetable oil (medium-chain triglycerides from palm and coconut fat in varying proportions).

Mode Directions for use
It can be used as a meal fortifier.
It can be used as a seasoning.
Not suitable for heating.
Warnings
The oil is not a source of essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins. Not suitable as a sole nutritional source.
The quantity of the product must be determined by the doctor or dietitian, in relation to the age, weight and clinical conditions of the patient.
The amount of MCT fats consumed must be increased gradually to avoid osmotic diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain, vomiting or headache.
The product must be used under medical supervision.
Suitable for infants, children and adults.
Do not use parenterally.
Not suitable for people not affected by the pathologies mentioned.
Contraindicated in case of ketoacidosis/acidosis, decompensated liver cirrhosis, chronic kidney disease, metabolic diseases (MCAD deficiency).
Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat and light, below 20°C.
Expiry date from the date of production, in the package intact: 24 months.
Once opened, the package must be consumed within 1-2 months.
