Product Description

Milco Ciock is a dietary food intended for special medical purposes. A protein-free drink (the protein content is less than 0.2 g/100 ml) based on milk ingredients, ready to use and chocolate flavored.

Indications

Designed to replace cow's milk when a strong reduction in dietary protein intake is necessary, such as in the case of the diet of individuals suffering from chronic renal failure.
Due to the characteristics of its composition, it can also be usefully used for the dietary treatment of inborn errors of metabolism, when a strong reduction in protein intake from common foods is necessary.

Milco Ciock, for example, contains virtually no phenylalanine (max 8 mg/100 g, a level equal to that of tyrosine), and can be used as a supplement to treat kidney disease. To be used, under the doctor's instructions, in diets intended for the treatment of phenylketonuria.
It also contains the essential fatty acids linoleic and alpha-linolenic in a ratio of 13:1 and in a quantity corresponding to 8% of total kcal.

Contains lactose.

Directions for use and Dosage

The amount to be taken throughout the day must be recommended by the doctor taking into account the age and conditions of the patient.
Shake well before use and follow the same instructions for cow's milk.

Compared to cow's milk, the product has a low calcium content.

Milco ciock cannot be the sole source of nutrition.
Do not use intravenously.
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.

Storage

Keep in a cool, dark place.
Once opened, the bottle must be kept in the refrigerator and the contents consumed within three days.
