Indications
Glutred is a food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of subjects who need to repair damaged tissue (for example: pressure sores, burns, diabetic foot ulcers, mucositis, radiodermatitis, etc.), for the dietary management of cancer patients and, more generally, of subjects with severe immune deficiency.
The nutritional approach with Glutred is based on the synergistic action of its components: HMB counteracts the loss of plasma and muscle proteins; glutamine and arginine promote protein synthesis, the repair of lesions and the normal functioning of the immune system; Whey proteins contain a high concentration of branched-chain amino acids, particularly leucine, which is essential for activating protein synthesis. Vitamin D has recognized positive effects on immunomodulation and muscle function.

L-glutamine, L-arginine, maltodextrin; acid: citric acid; calcium hydroxymethylbutyrate, flavorings, whey protein concentrate; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweeteners: acesulfame K, sucralose; coloring: beta-carotene; vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride).

Directions for use
1 or 2 sachets per day according to the doctor's advice.
The product can be used orally or enterally.
Oral administration: dissolve the contents in 250 ml of water.
Enteral administration: do not combine Glutred with other formulas for enteral nutrition in the same bag. Rinse the tube with 30 ml of water before and after administering the product. Ensure the tube is positioned correctly before use. Pour the contents of one sachet of Glutred into a container suitable for dispersing 250 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm. Stir until the product is completely dispersed. Administer the solution using a syringe of at least 60 ml.
Warnings
Not for parenteral use. Not intended as the sole source of nutrition. The product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Use only under medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 4 hours, if stored in the refrigerator after preparation.
