CHX plus nature:Dentists have been prescribing chlorhexidine for over 70 years, and for good reason: it works. In addition to chlorhexidine digluconate, Perio Plus+ contains natural bioflavonoids extracted from bitter oranges (Citrus aurantium amara): CITROX®.
Even more effective action:The bioflavonoids in CITROX® have powerful intrinsic antibacterial properties, which are able to amplify the antibacterial action of chlorhexidine. The combination of CITROX® and chlorhexidine digluconate makes Perio Plus+ extraordinarily effective.
Introducing the CITROX®/P complex:CITROX® is a true gift of nature. Made from natural bioflavonoids extracted from bitter oranges (Citrus aurantium amara), it is extremely effective against bacteria, fungi, and some specific viruses. To ensure proper adhesion to teeth, gums, and oral mucosa for a prolonged effect, CITROX® is combined with another completely natural ingredient—the amino acid polylysine. This is how the CITROX®/P complex is created.
Pleasant flavor, no taste alteration:Thanks to CITROX® and the flavoring developed by Givaudan experts, Perio Plus+ tastes good. Furthermore, it does not affect taste: from orange juice to pizza, every food retains its own flavor in the mouth.
Tips for reducing the appearance of stains:During treatment with Perio Plus+, avoid tobacco, coffee, green and black tea, fruit juices, red wine, cherries, berries, curry, and saffron. This will minimize the appearance of stains on your teeth. Clean thoroughly with a toothbrush. If necessary, you can also use a natural, non-abrasive whitening toothpaste, such as those in our "Black Is White" or BE YOU lines. Don't worry, stains can be easily removed by your dentist or dental hygienist.
Hyaluronic acid accelerates healing:Hyaluronic acid is particularly recommended after surgery, as it helps to reduce the appearance of stains. Regulates moisture levels, promotes cell growth, and accelerates regeneration. For this reason, some Perio Plus+ products contain hyaluronic acid.
Recommended use
Use morning and evening for one month in place of your usual toothpaste.
For oral use only. Do not swallow.

Warnings
Perio Plus+ products or other CHX-based mouthwashes should only be used as directed by a dentist or dental hygienist.
Under normal circumstances, the use of these types of products is not necessary, as toothbrushes, interdental brushes, and floss are sufficient to ensure proper cleaning of teeth, gums, and oral mucosa. Always follow the instructions of your dentist.
