Enamel and dentin, having no cells, do not possess the capacity for spontaneous regeneration. Any deterioration is therefore biologically irreversible. Biorepair® is the first toothpaste based on microRepair® capable of penetrating into the micro-scratches in enamel and dentin, chemically binding to them and repairing microabrasions. Used daily, Biorepair® Total Protective Repair defends teeth from acid and bacterial attack, protecting them from plaque, tartar, and cavities.
MicroRepair® are particles made of hydroxyapatite whose composition is very similar to that of tooth enamel. This similarity gives microRepair® the biomimetic property thanks to which the microparticles integrate with enamel and dentin, giving rise to the repairing activity.
