The product has a light apple and peppermint flavor; contains betaine for an increased moisturizing effect and is alcohol-free. In addition, TePe Hydrating Apple & Peppermint Mouthwash contains malic acid for a saliva-stimulating effect, which helps cleanse the mouth of bacteria and prevent plaque formation. If saliva decreases, the teeth become more dry and the mouth becomes softer. vulnerable to tooth decay and soft tissues more sensitive and susceptible to infections. The moisturizing mouthwash contains 0.2% sodium fluoride and is recommended as a complement to fluoride for people with dry and sensitive mouth and, therefore, at greater risk of tooth decay.
