Characteristics

Gel based on Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid:

• Lactic acid
  Organic acid belonging to the category of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), substances with keratolytic action capable of breaking the bonds created between keratinocytes.
  Lactic acid has superior hydrating and exfoliating properties compared to other AHAs, resulting in exceptional and long-lasting hydration. Being a natural component of our body, it is well tolerated, significantly limiting any irritating effects that may occur during treatments.
• Salicylic Acid
  An active ingredient with high keratolytic activity, as it is able to selectively break the keratin protein chain, abundantly present in corneocytes. At the skin level, salicylic acid decreases the cohesive forces of the corneocytes. This promotes the desquamation of hyperpigmented keratinocytes, simultaneously stimulating cell renewal. The final effect promoted by salicylic acid is surprising: the "new" keratinocytes, being less rich in melanin pigment, give the skin an even, smooth, and luminous appearance. It is also used for its bacteriostatic and soothing properties. In fact, it rapidly penetrates the inflamed lesions, performing these functions without causing obvious irritation.
