Features

Cream with 10% lipostabilized urea. It provides immediate and long-lasting relief to dry, rough and chapped skin. It is non-greasy and is rapidly absorbed by the skin, providing a prompt and long-lasting hydrating effect. It soothes itching, helps make the skin smooth, soft and elastic, strengthening the skin barrier. Urea is an organic compound that, when used topically, can have a hydrating or keratolytic effect, depending on the concentration used. The hydrating effect is obtained using low concentrations and is due to an increase in water binding sites in the stratum corneum and a reduction in transepidermal water loss. The keratoreducing and keratolytic effect is obtained at higher concentrations. high (30-50%) and the mechanism appears to be the alteration, by breaking hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratins of the stratum corneum. Urea is thus able to denature and disperse the keratin and thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.

Contains 10% pure lipostabilized urea.

Directions for use

Apply regularly morning and evening to clean, dry skin. Massage gently until completely absorbed.
