Indications

The Polybactum ovule is a compound that adheres to the vaginal wall to help reduce vaginal infections and protect the vagina from infections (including Gardnerella vaginalis infections) through a barrier effect. It has no harmful effects on the natural vaginal flora. In women with bacterial vaginosis, Polybactum aims to prevent the relapse of bacterial vaginosis. Contains Polycarbofil (mucoadhesive) and “lauryl glucoside”.

Composition

Hydrogenated coco-glycerides, Polycarbofil, Lauryl glucoside (0.04%).

Directions for use and dosage

Each ovule must be inserted deeply into the vagina. 3 ovules (1 every 3 days) per week. When necessary, wait until the end of the menstrual cycle. Repeat this treatment for 2 subsequent cycles (3 cycles in total).

Warnings

Product for vaginal use only. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more substances contained in the product. In case of an unexpected reaction, stop administration and contact a doctor. Do not use together with other vaginal treatments. Polybactum can Can be used during pregnancy but should be discontinued after mucosal breakdown. To avoid any interaction with other medicines, inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other ongoing treatments. Do not use if the box is damaged. Do not use the product if it has expired. Condoms may be used during treatment. The use of spermicidal substances and diaphragms are not recommended as the risk of inactivating the contraceptive method cannot be ruled out. Keep out of reach of children. Keep the blister in its original box together with the package leaflet.

Storage

Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and protected from light. Shelf life in unopened packaging: 24 months.
