Its components include high levels of unsaturated fatty acids (oleic and linoleic) and phytosterols (beta-sitosterol, campesterol, and stigmasterol). Due to its fatty acid and phytosterol content, sweet almond oil is a good moisturizer and epithelial regenerator, restoring the skin's lipid barrier and preventing water loss. It has anti-inflammatory, calming, softening, nourishing, and soothing properties. It is suitable for all skin types and is recommended for irritated and dry skin.
