It is useful in the prevention and treatment of vaginal conditions, including fungal infections. It helps reduce irritation, burning, and itching.

Indications

Lineagin Ovules is a medical device that helps restore the vagina's natural defenses. Based on boric acid, lactic acid, and polycarbophil, it helps eliminate symptoms resulting from an imbalance in the vaginal pH and endogenous bacterial flora.
Lactic acid, a component normally present in the vagina, promotes an immediate correction of the pH and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate vulvo-vaginal ecosystem. Boric acid, thanks to its persistence in the vaginal environment, promotes a prolonged lowering of the vaginal pH.
Polycarbophil, once bound to the vaginal mucus, is able to constantly release H+ ions that contribute to lowering the pH of the vaginal environment.

Composition

One ovule contains: boric acid, polycarbophil, lactic acid, tocopheryl acetate, vitamin A palmitate, 18-beta-glycyrrhetic acid, tea tree oil, phosphatidylcholine, semi-synthetic triglycerides.

How to use and Dosage

Wash the intimate parts thoroughly (preferably with both an external and internal vaginal douche), open the package and, after washing your hands well, take a single ovule from the blister, insert the ovule delicately into the vagina trying to reach deep, preferably in supine position, avoiding accidental leakage.
Introduce 1 ovule into the vagina per day, preferably in the evening before bedtime, for 5-7 days after the end of the menstrual cycle or as otherwise indicated by your doctor.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Do not use the product if the package is damaged. Do not use the product after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Do not use the product if you have vaginal lesions or wounds. Do not use during menstruation. Do not exceed the recommended dose without medical advice. Use, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy. It is important to report to your doctor or pharmacist the occurrence of side effects not described in this leaflet.
In pregnant and breastfeeding women and in children, the use of vaginal suppositories should be limited to cases of real need and under the direct supervision of a doctor. If the hymen is intact, consult your gynecologist about the specific instructions for use before use.
Side effects: known hypersensitivity to the components.
Single-use device: do not reuse in case of accidental leakage.

Storage

Keep the package tightly closed in a dry place, between 5°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.
