Indications
Ipatchmed Zerosudo is a medical device for the treatment and prevention of hyperhidrosis and is indicated in the presence of axillary, palmar, and plantar hyperhidrosis due to external causes (for example, the use of safety shoes). It is not functional in cases of secondary hyperhidrosis, i.e. when excessive sweating is widespread and generalized. The exclusive Duktor technology uses the principles of iontophoresis to generate pulsed microfields, which contribute to improving the regulation of sweating in the specific area of application.
Details
The structure of the ZeroSudo patch is made up of 2 layers with specific functions:
- The external fabric composed of intertwined micro-filaments of positively charged Copper and negatively charged Zinc forms a galvanic cell that allows the conversion of chemical energy (sweat and mineral salts) into electrical energy;
- Under the patented external fabric, the hypoallergenic, breathable and water-resistant adhesive matrix is installed, which allows perfect adhesion to the skin without causing irritation.
Operating principle and action
- Phase 1: Application of the patch: Once ZeroSudo is applied to the skin in the area to be treated, the hypoallergenic adhesive matrix of the patch creates a barrier effect that allows for the creation of a localized moist environment;
- Phase 2: Sweat activates the galvanic cell: The increase in humidity generated by the adhesive matrix and the mineral salts in sweat come into contact with the copper and zinc microfilaments present in the external tissue and activate the galvanic cell, which thus produces the low-intensity continuous microcurrents typical of iontophoresis;
- Phase 3: the electrical impulses act on the sweat glands: The microcurrents generated by the galvanic cell act on the sweat glands, limiting and normalizing the production of localized sweat.

Composition
Fabric matrix (40% cotton, 40% polyester and silica, 10% copper, 10% zinc) and PET (polyethylene terephthalate), coated with a hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive matrix.
Directions for use and Dosage
- Nighttime application for hands and feet: In the evening, before going to bed, apply 1 patch to each palm/sole of the hand/foot and keep them on overnight for a minimum of 8 hours. Remove the patches in the morning and then apply 2 new patches the following evening;
- Intensive combined application: Apply 1 patch to each back of the hand/foot in the morning. In the evening, before going to bed, add 2 more new patches to the palms/soles (one per hand/foot) and leave them in place for at least 8 hours. The following morning, remove all 4 patches. Apply 2 new patches to the backs of the hands/feet and so on in a cyclical fashion.
- Axillary hyperhidrosis: Apply 2 patches (one per side) in the morning, leave them in place for 24 hours and then replace them with a new one the following morning.
If the device comes off during the day, do not replace it immediately with a new one but wait until the following morning to proceed with a new application.
