Gynecolase intimate cleanser is capable of restoring the natural acidic pH of the protective vulvo-vaginal barrier which, if altered, can cause irritation. be the cause of irritative processes, such as vulvitis, leukorrhea, anal and vaginal itching.

Active ingredients

• Chlorhexidine [1.6-di(4-chlorophenyldiguanido)-hexane]: is a compound active against a wide range of pathogenic species, gram-negative and gram-positive, fungi, yeasts and viruses. It maintains its activity even at very low concentrations and in the presence of biological fluids. Chlorhexidine digluconate, whose efficacy is clinically proven, has low toxicity even after prolonged use. Cases of irritation and sensitization reported in the literature are rare. Photoallergy and phototoxicity tests, irritation and contact sensitization tests, have been very satisfactory. The high harmlessness of chlorhexidine justifies its use in intimate hygiene products. Chlorhexidine, as a hydrophobic ion, can bind to negatively charged groups on the cell walls of microorganisms, resulting in membrane damage and loss of cytoplasmic structures. In aerobic organisms, it disrupts electron transport in the cytochrome system. It can also inhibit enzymatic activity and the number of leukocytes in inflammatory exudates.
• Undecylenic acid (hydrolyzed undecylenic collagen): obtained by pyrolysis of ricinolenic acid, it is used in the prophylaxis and treatment of a wide variety of pathogenic fungi, such as Trycophyton, Epidermophyton, and Microsporum. Its "uncoupling agent" mechanism of action blocks cell membrane substrates, inhibiting electron transport. It is used to control fungal infections.
• Echinacin B (echinacea angustifolia): is a glycoside composed of rhamnose, glucose, and a phenolic aglucone. The aglycones represent the pharmacologically active sites of the molecule. The anti-inflammatory activity is due to a combined action of the two aglycones, through the binding of the glycoside with the enzymes of the inflammatory mediators. Echinacin, by inhibiting the depolymerization of hyaluronic acid by hyaluronidase, helps increase the body's defenses against microbial agents that spread in the tissues, also by virtue of the enzyme they produce (anti-hyaluronidase activity).
• Calendula officinalis: glycolic extract rich in carotenes, essential oil, and mucilage. Known for its unquestionable therapeutic properties, it is used externally for its soothing, decongestant, and hydrating properties on red and inflamed skin and mucous membranes. In gynecology, it is recognized for its ability to relieve abdominal pain associated with the menstrual cycle.

Directions for use

Use as a normal liquid soap for daily cleansing of the external genitalia or dilute 1-2 tablespoons directly in the bidet water for prolonged ablutions. Rinse and dry gently.
