Idrar ointment is composed of:

• Stearyl glycyrrhetinate: is a functional ingredient that combines the marked skin soothing and anti-reddening properties of glycyrrhetic acid with the emollient properties of a fatty substance of plant origin. This latter component makes glycyrrhetic acid more effective. similar to skin lipids, amplifying their effectiveness.
• Ceramides NP, AP and EOP: are lipids naturally present in the outermost layer of the skin: they capture and bind the water the epidermis needs to remain elastic, smooth and hydrated; they strengthen the skin's natural protective lipid barrier. Their application on dry and sensitive skin improves skin hydration and promotes repair, ensuring long-lasting protection.
• Panthenol: is easily absorbed into the epidermis and converted into provitamin B5, the molecule responsible for its properties: it is useful in cases of redness, irritation and itching with a soothing action; thanks to its hygroscopicity, it retains water and deeply hydrates the skin; It promotes skin elasticity and the formation of new epithelial cells.
• Calendula: is a plant with a rich phytocomplex consisting of polysaccharides, flavonoids, and carotenoids with an epithelializing action, and mucilages, complex structures with a hydrating function capable of swelling and retaining water. Due to its strong soothing and emollient properties, it is a functional adjuvant ingredient in cases of redness, irritation, or chapping.
• Vitamin E: natural tocopherol is a vitamin with high antioxidant properties, useful for maintaining connective tissue in optimal condition. Being a hydrophobic oily substance, it helps maintain the lipid bilayer, the skin's natural barrier against dehydration, provides emollience and soothes irritation.
