Helixine Body Cream is a body treatment based on snail slime. Its action leaves the skin smooth and soft, toned, and scented, and helps restore the right level of hydration.

Active components

• Mucopolysaccharides: they represent the most abundant portion. Upon contact with water, these substances swell, forming a natural gel, a kind of framework with very important functions: it retains water on the skin for a long time, performing an intense and prolonged hydrating action. It has a tissue-supporting function, helping to maintain the skin's extracellular turgidity. It also acts as a protective barrier against external agents, such as: cold, pollution, dry air;
• Allantoin: long recognized for its healing properties, it fights free radicals by increasing the healing speed of skin lesions and is an indispensable aid in slowing down the aging process;
• Collagen: the main protein of the dermis, it has the function of support, protection and resistance to maintain hydration and the physiological well-being of the skin. If used externally, it acts as a natural filler in minimizing wrinkles;
• Elastin: thanks to the intervention of this structural element, it renews tone and elasticity to the skin that suffers loss due to external factors and the advancement of age.
