Characteristics

Gaia Oil is a soft dry oil with high skin tolerability composed of a blend of vegetable oils rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, easily distributed on the skin with an emollient, velvety effect without residual greasiness.

Active components

• Helianthus annuus oil (sunflower oil): has regenerating, emollient and refreshing properties and is very rich in vitamins: E, D, F, K;
• Borage oil: is an oil rich in gammalinoleic acid, which has strong anti-inflammatory properties as it inhibits the enzymes cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase;
• Adansonia digitata (baobab): oil rich in vitamin C, B vitamins, and vitamin PP. It regulates fibroblast function, improving the trophism of the reticular and papillary dermis. It is a source of palmitic acid and botulinum acid, which have antioxidant properties;
• Soybean glycine oil: oil rich in essential fatty acids such as linoleic and linolenic, which have a marked hydrating and nourishing action;
• Perilla frutescens oil: very rich in rosmarinic acid. The plant has strong antihistaminic and anti-allergic properties;
• Tea tree oil: has known antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.

Directions for use

Apply the oil 2-3 times a day to the affected area with a light massage. It can be applied in the following fields:

• Gynecology: as a post-medical treatment for vulvar diseases such as lichen planus, psoriasis, irritant or allergic eczema and is useful in post-menopausal xerosis and to counteract the physiological processes of skin aging;
• Dermatology: skin xerosis caused by aging and photoaging, solar and allergic dermatitis, in atopic dermatitis;
• Angiology: xerotic, dry and dehydrated skin caused by venous stasis;
• Surgery: after treatment of surgical wounds to counteract the formation of hypertrophic scars.
