Indications
Ready-to-use vaginal douche with hyaluronic acid, hydrogen peroxide, lactic acid, and chamomile. With its formula based on hyaluronic acid, hydrogen peroxide, lactic acid, and chamomile, it helps eliminate symptoms resulting from an imbalance in vaginal hydration and/or pH, promoting the maintenance of the vagina's natural defenses. - Estro-progestin therapies (e.g. contraceptive pill, hormone replacement therapy);
- Menopause, atrophy and dystrophy of the vulvo-vaginal mucosa;
- Vaginal dryness;
- Bacterial and fungal vaginitis and vaginosis;
- Irritation, burning and itching;
- Puerperium (post-partum);
- Topical and/or systemic antibiotic or antifungal therapies;
- Post-coital and menstrual hygiene.
Composition
Aqua, Rosa Centifolia, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Hydrogen Perixide, Urea Perixide, Lactic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citrus grandis seed extract, Chamomilla Recutita extract, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium ethylparaben - Sodium propylparaben.
Active ingredients
- Hydrogen peroxide: inhibits the growth of pathogens. A component normally present in the vagina, it is produced by the lactobacilli that make up the vaginal flora; its presence inhibits the onset and growth of pathogenic microorganisms;
- Hyaluronic acid: reduces vaginal dryness. It has a hydrating and lubricating action against vaginal dryness and accelerates the healing of tissues damaged by inflammatory or infectious processes;
- Lactic acid: rebalances the intimate pH. A component normally present in the vagina, it promotes immediate pH correction and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate vulvar ecosystem;
- Chamomile: reduces irritation and burning. With its calming, analgesic, and anti-reddening action, it significantly affects the symptoms caused by various pathological conditions.
Directions for use and Dosage
Vaginal irrigation can be performed once or more times a day. It is preferable to apply vaginal douche before going to sleep.
Preparation and cleaning
- Wash your hands thoroughly before application;
- Break the cap of the bottle;
- Remove the disposable cannula from the protective sachet and insert it onto the nozzle of the bottle, applying light pressure;
- Carry out the wash by inserting the cannula into the vagina while sitting on the bidet or standing in the shower or bathtub. The douche should flow regularly by gently squeezing the bottle;
- Remove the cannula and throw it in the waste bin;
Warnings
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not swallow.
Side effects
Hypersensitivity to some components. Use, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization episodes; if this occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy. It is important to report any adverse effects to your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions for use
Single-use product: reuse of the same bottle, contents, or cannula by multiple people may result in the product becoming ineffective, worsening existing problems, and the onset of problems that were not present before. Do not use the product if you have vaginal lesions or wounds. Do not use during menstruation. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or opened. Do not use the product after the expiration date; the expiration date refers to the intact and properly stored packaging. If your hymen is intact, contact your gynecologist for specific instructions for use. For pregnant women and girls, the use of lavender should be limited to cases of actual need and under the direct supervision of a doctor.
Storage
Store the package tightly closed at room temperature [5°C -25°C] and away from light and heat sources.
