Product Description

Skin gel for the treatment of symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency; states of capillary fragility.

Composition

C,M.: composition modified by eliminating an active ingredient (sodium heparin). 100 g contain the following active ingredients: • escin 1 g • phosphatidylcholine 0.8 g.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients. Essaven c.m. gel should not be spread on open skin wounds, eczema and mucous membranes (anal, etc.).

Dosage

Apply the preparation 3 times a day, spreading it on the painful and swollen areas, distributing the gel evenly until absorbed, also on the surrounding areas, without the need to massage. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Warnings and precautions

Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Keep the medicine out of the reach and sight of children.

Interactions

None known to date.

Side effects

In very rare cases, allergic reactions such as exanthema or rash and urticaria may occur. Itching (frequency unknown). Any skin redness, which is extremely rare, disappears spontaneously when the application of the preparation is suspended.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The use of the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not contraindicated.
