Indications
Decon 5 is a CE Medical Device for topical use based on lactic acid and chlorhexidine useful for preventing the proliferation of unwanted microorganisms.
It promotes the maintenance of the physiological vaginal pH.
It performs an effective washing of the vaginal mucosa, and thanks to its formulation, creates an unfavorable environment for the attachment of any pathogens, such as fungi and bacteria.
It is useful in preventing the proliferation of unwanted microorganisms, it is effective in promoting the removal of unwanted secretions, for example resulting from the menstrual cycle or sexual intercourse, or residues of medications for topical use after local therapy. It is also a valid aid in relieving discomfort and cases of dryness, irritation, burning, and itching.
It contains lactic acid, important for maintaining normal vaginal pH levels for optimal immune defense; chlorhexidine gluconate, which prevents bacterial infections and fungal infections; and alpha-bisabolol, which helps improve irritation, which often causes symptoms such as burning and itching.
It is indicated for preventing the proliferation of unwanted microorganisms. It promotes the maintenance of physiological vaginal pH.
It is also useful in irritated conditions, for its soothing action and as an adjuvant in intimate hygiene aimed at removing unwanted residues. Excellent adjuvant during menopause to restore physiological vaginal acidity and to hydrate the vaginal mucosa.
Composition
Water, polysorbate 20, chlorhexidine digluconate, sodium methylparaben, lactic acid, imidazolidinyl urea, alpha bisabolol, perfume.
Directions for use and dosage
Shake the bottle before use and perform the following operations:
Press the cap with your thumb until it comes off,
Apply the cannula contained in the package, taking care to secure it well,
Gently insert the cannula into the vagina,
Perform the wash by slowly pressing the bottle until it is completely empty.
Douche once a day, or according to your doctor's advice, preferably in the evening before go to bed.
Warnings
Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children. The product is not intended for pediatric use. Do not use for purposes other than those indicated. Do not ingest. The product is intended for use exclusively on intact mucosa. The device is single-use: use immediately after opening. Any product remaining in the opened bottle should be discarded and not reused. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any component of the product. The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In case of known or suspected pregnancy, during breastfeeding, and in conjunction with other local pharmacological therapies, consult your doctor before using the product. To date, no adverse effects caused by the use of the product are known. If particular reactions occur, discontinue use of the product and contact your doctor or pharmacist. No cases of declared toxicity have been reported.
