Indications

Aptamil Profutura Duobiotik 2 follow-on milk is indicated for feeding infants from the 6th to the 12th month, when breast milk is lacking or insufficient. Aptamil Profutura Duobiotik 2 contains our unique combination of HMO 2'FL and HMO 3'GL, derived from our exclusive process, Prebiotic Fibers GOS-FOS (galacto-oligosaccharides and fructo-oligosaccharides) and milk fat. It also contains immunonutrients (vitamins C and D), which contribute to the normal function of the immune system, Omega-3 (ALA and DHA) and 6.

Directions for use and Dosage

Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the infant's health. Before preparing the product, make sure the area you are working in is clean and wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring. If you don't have a sterilizer available, boil them in water. Keep the pan and sterilized objects closed with the lid until you are ready to use them. Be careful when handling hot objects.
Boil the amount of drinking water needed to reconstitute the product in a clean container. Pour the warm water into the sterilized bottle following the instructions in the average feeding table. Add the level scoops of powder according to the instructions in the average feeding table, using only the scoop included in the package. Close the bottle and shake it for at least 10 seconds to dissolve the powder. Once the product is ready, test the temperature on your wrist and administer to the infant. Consume within half an hour of preparation. Do not reuse any leftover prepared product, and do not heat or boil the milk once reconstituted.

Warnings

Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and is recommended as the exclusive food up to the 6th month and as a milk component of a balanced diet during weaning and even after one year of age. If this is missing or insufficient, follow-on formula can only be used as directed by your pediatrician. Aptamil Profutura Duobiotik 2 is suitable for infants only after the 6th month of life. It should not be used as a substitute for breast milk in the first 6 months of life and should be considered part of a diversified diet. Weaning should only begin following your pediatrician's instructions.
