Features
The Kidfix III S XP car seat is ECE R44/04 approved for Groups 2-3 and is suitable for children weighing 15 to 36 kg (approximately 3 to 12 years).
Upper back reinforcements protect your child in 3 ways: the seat shell provides head-to-side protection for your child, especially in a side impact; upper and lower belt guides ensure correct positioning of the seat belt; The padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your child's head and neck.
To protect your child's delicate neck area in the event of a frontal impact, Britax has developed a shock-absorbing foam pad. It prevents the child's chin from hitting the chest, absorbing up to 30% of the energy. This reduces forward movement of the head and protects the neck. At the same time, it provides additional padding around the edges of the seat belt.
To offer maximum comfort, even for taller children, the seat is approximately 20% larger than similar models. The improved shape and extra soft padding make the seat comfortable and ergonomic for longer journeys. Longer.
SecureGuard helps protect your child's delicate abdominal area by adding an additional point of contact to the 3-point seat belt. By keeping the lap belt in an optimal position on the child's pelvic bones, SecureGuard helps reduce abdominal forces in a frontal collision by up to 35% while allowing your child to move freely during the journey.
The SICT system offers your child superior protection in the event of a side collision. It reduces impact forces by minimizing the distance between the car and the seat and deforms to absorb energy before it reaches your little one. To benefit from the protection, simply adjust the SICT on the door-facing side of the seat.
The headrest is specially designed for larger children. Larger children can be secured using the 3-point safety belt. It can be easily adjusted to the correct position, just above the child's shoulders, with one hand, even while they are sitting in the seat. Additionally, the headrest is ergonomically designed to support your child's head when falling asleep.
The V-shaped backrest is designed to provide optimal support for your growing child. The V-shaped backrest offers more room for the back and shoulders. Furthermore, the backrest automatically adjusts to the angle of the vehicle seat, providing a better fit and a comfortable position for your child.
