Powdered milk indicated for the dietary management of regurgitation in infants from 0 to 6 months.

Indications

Aptamil AR 1 is a food for special medical purposes designed to meet the particular nutritional needs of infants up to the 6th month in case of frequent episodes of regurgitation.
The Aptamil AR 1 formula contains:

• GOS FOS prebiotics
• the exclusive Lactofidus fermented product
• carob seed flour.

The latter is a natural thickener that acts by absorbing water, thus to increase the viscosity of the reconstituted product and therefore reduce its reflux: a key element in the dietary management of regurgitation.

Directions for use and Dosage

Reconstitution and doses for the powder: 1 measuring spoon (approximately 4.6 g) + 30 ml of water.

Storage and handling instructions Use:
Inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the infant's health.
Before preparing, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring.
Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle when lukewarm.
To obtain a well-leveled measuring cup, after filling it, remove the excess powder using the practical leveler on the side of the package. Add level scoops of powder following the instructions in the average feeding table.
Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder and wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken.
Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on your wrist.
It is recommended to prepare the product only at mealtime and to consume it within half an hour.
Do not heat or boil the product once prepared.
Do not reuse any leftover product.

Storage

Once opened, the package must be resealed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator).
The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
