Indications

Glucomannan helps improve the metabolism of triglycerides, cholesterol and carbohydrates.

It also influences the modulation/limitation of the feeling of satiety, intestinal transit and the volume and normal consistency of stool. 

Glucomannan reduces the intestinal absorption of lipids, in particular cholesterol, the major modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease, causing an increase in fecal excretion. In weight control, good results have been obtained at dosages of 1.5-4 g/day, divided into the three main meals, with plenty of water, decreasing the dose in case of any gastrointestinal disorders. Like all fibers, glucomannan has beneficial effects on glycemia, as well as fighting constipation by stimulating intestinal peristalsis.

Glucomannan: polysaccharide present in high concentrations in the tuber of Amorphophallus konjac.

Directions for use

2 capsules 3 times a day with 1-2 large glasses of water 30 minutes before meals.

Warnings

Possible danger of choking for people with swallowing difficulties or if swallowed without adequate fluid intake. To allow the product to reach the stomach, it must be taken with plenty of water. Do not take before bedtime. Dietary fiber supplementation may reduce the absorption of medications when taken simultaneously. The product should be used as part of an appropriate low-calorie diet, following a healthy lifestyle with a good level of physical activity. If the diet is followed for prolonged periods, longer than three weeks, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
