Indications

Berberol K is a supplement based on Berberine Phytosome and Monacolin K. Berberis aristata extract has beneficial effects in regulating the functionality of the cardiovascular system. Specially formulated to break down in 120 minutes to promote the action of Monacolin K, as demonstrated by numerous clinical studies. Each tablet contains:

• 730 mg of Berberine Phytosome from standardized dry extract of Berberis aristata;
• 15 mg of MonakoPure, corresponding to 2.9 mg of monacolin K and KA, from fermented red rice extract (Monascus purpureus)

Ingredients

Berberine phytosome: dry extract of Berberis aristata DC. (root) complexed with phospholipids (sunflower lecithin); Isolated proteins from Pisum sativum and procyanidyl oligomers from Vitis vinifera (seeds) with hydroxypropylcellulose and silicon dioxide, monacolins from fermented red rice from Monascus purpureus, maltodextrin; stabilizer: cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose; bulking agent: calcium phosphates; glazing agents: polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, calcium carbonate, talc, glycerol, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, fatty acids, cellulose; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; Coloring: iron oxides and hydroxides.
Without sugars, gluten,  lactose and aspartame.

Directions for use and dosage

Take 1 tablet a day, preferably in the evening before going to sleep.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a correct lifestyle.
Do not take during pregnancy.
If you chew the tablet, you may notice a strong bitter taste from the berberine.

No particular side effects are reported. It may cause sporadic and mild constipation.

Interaction with other products

Berberol K cannot be taken by those already using statins as the mechanism of action is the same.
